Well, just 3 more days to the end of this year of 2007, filled with beauty, excitement, happiness, sadness and sorrows... What a mix of emotions it is...

Thinking back, many things have happened since the start of this year...
The introduction of the new species called "girls",
The "no textbook" school life,
The shoulder aches from carrying the bag everywhere I go,
The new-found friends (girls are much more understanding than i thought! :P),
The emotions arising from contact with people, first the nice one, then the sad one,
The maturity of thought that had hit me,
The ugly nature of humans,
The closeness of the people around me,
The love,
The reality of life,
The harsh new environment called "society",
The hatred towards pieces of paper called "money",
And the commitment to whatever i wanna do...

All these, have changed my life in this not very short, but also not very long period of 365 days...
Now, things will never be the same...
With the start of 2008, things will become very hectic, with a concert to prepare for, the 'A' Levels, and the dreaded NS...
Many things will need to be reconsidered,
Sacrifices may need to be made,
But all in all,
I'm a changed man.

Well, 2007 will be a year to be remembered...
Always...

Well, 2 days ago, went for the 1 Star Kayaking course at Pasir Ris...
Everything went pretty well...
Until it was almost time to return to the clubhouse some supposed theory lessons...
So we headed back to the beach...
And me and Yang carried our kayak up to the beach, with me walking backwards...
Here's where my luck ditched me: I stepped onto a freakin' rusty nail on a small piece of wood...
Like, wadde hell??? The beach is so big and long and that stupid wood just had to be at that stupid spot...
Argh~~~ Luckily my water booties saved me... If not tha nail would have drived through my feet...
"Rushed" to a clinic after washing up...
2nd wadde hell: clinics are closed on Sundays...
What dumb logic is that??? People dun get sick on Sundays ar? ZzZzZz~~~
Went to the only open clinic we could find...
Raffles Medical...
1 Tetanus jab + 1 antibiotic + paracetamol = $75.75
This time, its not wadde hell, its wtf!
Haiz... Hope it can be claimed... If not, it'll be a damn expensive kayaking course sia...
But nevertheless, only 2 words can describe that incident: DAMN SUAY...

Well, that suay incident aside, I just found a band that plays nice songs.
Their name is: Wideawake
Dang their songs are nice lah...
Especially "Maybe Tonight, Maybe Tomorrow"
Decided to share this song...
Enjoy!

Well, felt bored, but didn't wanna DotA... So i did these quizzes i saw from Noeleen's blog instead... :p
What Your Handwriting Says About You

You are a fairly energetic person. You know how do pace yourself, and you deal well with stress.

You are very extroverted and outgoing. You are loving, friendly, and supportive. However, you are also manipulative and controlling at times.

You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others.

You need a bit of space in your life, but you're not a recluse. You expect people to give you a small amount of privacy, and you respect their privacy as well.

You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart.

You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous.
The Part of You That No One Sees
You are aloof, mysterious, and distant.People feel like they really don't know the true you...Yet they're still drawn to you, almost by magnetic force.
Underneath it all, you don't even really feel like you know yourself. It's easier to put on a front than really think about your life's purpose. You tend to seem pretentious, but it's just a mechanism you use to push people away.
You Are a Green Crayon
Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors. While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around.Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease. You're very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows!
Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.
What Color Crayon Are You?
Your Sensitivity Score: 53%
As far as sensitivity goes, you're a lot more in tune than most people. You can't help but be touched by what's around you - good and bad.But when things do get really bad around you, you are strong enough not to break down.
Are You Extremely Sensitive?
Your Element Is Air
You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world. And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly.
Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life. You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful.
You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person. With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that!

Ooooh... 15/07 Chalet at Downtown East was fun! Nothing beats hanging out with friends for a whole day, let alone 3 days! Wooooooo~~~

Day 1

Met up with Kuan Teck, Fiona and Yang in the morning at White Sands for breakfast and some pre-chalet food shopping... I thought we just needed to get a little bit of snacks and stuff, but we ended up with a trolley full of stuff. Funny thing was, we went around NTUC with 2 trolleys: 1 for food, the other for all of our bags. Lolz. Felt kinda weird pushing the bag trolley around. Haha.

Then waited for the others and had lunch at the food court before heading off for Downtown East. Dang the queue at the interchange was super long, and we had to wait for the 2nd bus before really moving to the chalet. Oh, did i mention the bus was super packed as well? Shouldn't have brought my guitar there, but oh well, at least it was useful in helping Fiona with her song. Hehe.

Once there, we met with Emily and her mom to check in. But sadly, she can't stay for long, so she left shortly after that. So after settling down and all, we slacked around in the room; guys played PS2, i helped Fiona with her song with Josephine and Yang, and the other girls, erm, i can't rmb what were they doing. Woopsie! :P From then on, Fiona's song kept ringing in my head for some unknown reason, and i happened to accidently made her song from a ballad to an emo-rock kind of feeling. Haha. Can't wait to try it on my electric... And that reminds me, my electric is still in Yang's house! LOL!

When night came, the main highlight for the day arrived too. NIGHT CYCLING! Haha. We left the chalet for the rental station a bit late as it was gonna close soon, so we ended up taking quite a jog to the place... And it wasn't near lol, was quite a distance away... That was the first time in dunno how long that i ran le... And so we managed to reach there and rent the bikes in time, with Kel meeting us there. And then, we cycled, and cycled, and cycled... All the way to Bedok MRT station... I thought we'll take the whole night, but we were way ahead of schedule, and reached back at about 2am. Lolz.

Day 2

Ok, the night was cold, and i've been convinced of my 1 bad habit... Zzzzz... Oh well, what to do? Lolz. Sok Yin came to join us! Hehe. Then lunched and then went around with the guys while the girls are either sleeping in the chalet or have gone Wild Wild Wet and Escape Theme Park. Dang the LAN there is damn ex la! $4/hour sia! Pain pain~! So we ended up slacking in the room, much to Melissa's disappointment. Haha. Sorry mel! :p

When it was time, Kuan Teck and me went to prepare the BBQ... Lol, charcoal fire with corn leaves are nice. Haha. Perfected my chicken wing cooking there. Yay! Learned something new. Haha. Well, time flies when we are having fun... Soon, it was late, and my dear babe had to go... Haiz, was hoping she could stay a bit later... How unfortunate... So she left and a few others too... The night was then spent in the room on the PS2 if i rmb correctly. Haha. Hmmn, for some reason, there's this weird feeling in me since the night cycling... But oh well, decided to ignore it. :P

Day 3

Well, by this time, everyone was damn tired le. All those late nights and all, but still we all woke up early hoping to catch the sunrise... But dang again, its the monsoon season, and there were too many clouds to see the sun at all, so instead, we just played around on the beach... Kuan Teck was playing with fire, others were walking around on the beach, drawing things in the sand, blah^3...

Looking at the horizon, with the cool weather and the nice sea breeze blowing over my face, my mind began to wander off into some thoughts, and i started thinking about some things that had happened in my life this past year, since entering a whole new environment so different from that in CHS... "As time goes, people grow and change... So, time's up, let's go... But where do I stand?" That's the last thing on my mind after we started getting ready to leave... But at the last moments, i managed to take some shots. Hehe.

And with that last photo, we headed on... Time's up, lets go...
