I think the scientist in me is constantly filling my head with questions...
Though, some of them really get me thinking...

What is the science behind humour?
And,
What is the science behind love?

In lay-man's terms, "What makes us tick?"
Are they merely merely electrical impulses to and fro the brain?
Why do such impulses relay such a peculiar reaction?
The human brain is such a wonderful thing it's almost an art form in itself...

Sometimes, having a lot of time to yourself can really let you see things in a different light...
Its lets you get a clearer picture of your life.
It gives you a reality check,
allowing you to see what is real, what is just an illusion.
It enables you to differentiate things which you think is true, from those which are actually true and also those which are actually not.

It is like entering the inner sanctuary of your mind,
and then looking out from those windows of the mind called Eyes,
just to see the illusion around you shatter,
to reveal the painful truth beyond...

Looks like the faux.fire burned out this time...
Will there be a re-ignition?

I was just browsing through the never-ending updates of other people's lives on facebook until a thought hit me, quite hard in fact: People are actually having a life out there, celebrating x'mas and all...

Then I do a little self-reflection and reality hits: Shit, what the hell am I doing with my life??? People are having fun out there while all i'm doing is just browsing through facebook and playing my guitar learning new songs online???

Dang I'm gonna need help... Seriously...

I seriously wonder how will the people with seemingly no aim in life besides what is in the present, extremely narrow hearts and what they perceive as the easier route to 'enjoy life' survive in the harsh reality called Society, aka the "Real World Out There".

In groups, they may seem like they're the boss, being 'cool' and 'in command'. But in truth, its all just a facade that crumbles away to nothing once they become an individual. 'Cool' is actually just being different from the mainstream; some may even term it as 'weird' or worse, 'gross'. Likewise, 'In command' may be the end result of being extremely loud, literally, and uncouth, so much that there is not much hope in trying to make them change for the better which results in others not bothering to even express their own views or counter-argue, for the simple reason to not damage and dirty their ears.

It may seem as though the world will be a better place if Pandora's Box wasn't opened in the first place, so the 7 deadly sins would not escape and plague the world. But like everything in this universe, when there's light, there is darkness; when there is ying, there is yang, etc. Such people are important, no matter how ironic it may sound, to maintain a balance in this Society. They give us constant reality checks to remind ourselves how ugly the world is out there; They are constantly reminding ourselves to never EVER be like them, to degrade ourselves to the level of them, to insult Life itself by becoming them. Hence such 'Scum of the Earth', as some would call them, are crucial to the balance and harmony in this world as they make us better persons, better individuals, not just to ourselves, but also the people that we care about. Our family, friends and the other people that help shape our lives will all benefit from this. And from this, Society would benefit from a micro level to a macro level over time.

As such, I stand by the fact that a society cannot function with the absence of such people who live on the 'principles' of hypocrisy, greed, lust, self-centeredness, childishness, etc etc.

This is a sad sad world...
People can be so blinded by their own facades, insecurities and childishness that they do not see the path to self-destruction of their own future laid out in front of them...
It's really such a pity...
I wish for them to open their eyes before they enter the realm of self-damnation...
