Today, is the last day of my teenage civilian life...
Tomorrow, will be the day I enter the phase in life that all Singaporean males have to pass at the minimum age of 18...
At 1130 hours tomorrow, I will be enlisted to serve the National Service...
Sitting in front of the computer now, it makes me wonder how my life will change...
Its like, 2 years worth of training, marching, shooting, driving, and all the army yada-yada.
That kinda equates to no more DotA, no more LAN, no more spending time with her, no more going out and chill with friends, and all the teenage yada-yada...
Well, at least thats for most of the time, except on the weekends when i book-out from camp...
Wow, now I can't imagine trying to cram all of that into 1 day, not to mention sleeping! >.<
I received many farewells, good lucks, and stuff...
When I took a step back and thought about it for a moment, just a moment,
I feel as though i'm gonna pass away and everyone's giving me their condolences (is that how you spell it?).
But then I shook off that retarded thought and realised that, hey, many people do care!
And for that, I would like to thank those who had given me well wishes. I really appreciate it man, all of you! :)
Way back in CHS during chinese lessons, there was this chapter called "Zhen Xi Yan Qian Ren".
Now, in my last few hours before my teenage life ends, this idiom can't be any more true...
Right now, i felt as though i've taken many things for granted...
Family time, Friend time, computer time, guitar time, school time, and most important of all, time with her...
I really enjoyed today, and I hope we'll be able to enjoy each other's company for many years to come. :)
I'm sure you feel the same too! ;p
Oh wells, leaving the comfort of my home for Pulau Tekong,
I'm sure as hell gonna miss quite a few things, and people of course. :P
To the guys, SEE YOU ALL IN THERE SOON!!!
To the girls, SEE YOU ALL IN UNI 2 YEARS LATER!!!
Cya all, peeps!
