A guitarist in a band,
is just like the background in a painting...
The subject can go alone well,
but without the background, it just doesn't look complete...
It forms an important part of the whole picture,
even though it is rarely focussed upon...
But that's what a guitarist has to accept,
a vital yet mostly unremembered part of the picture,
while the subject receives the compliments...
That's who a guitarist is...
